Clash Verge Rev macOS Download Apple Silicon and Intel dual versions
The macOS platform provides both Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) and Intel x86_64 DMG installation packages. Please confirm the device chip type before downloading. If you select the wrong version, it will fail to start.
- 1. Click on the upper left corner of the screen Apple Icon
- 2. Select "About this Mac"
- 3. View the "Chip" or "Processor" field:
Apple M1/M2/M3/M4 → Select aarch64
Intel Core i5/i7/i9 → Select x64
Choose the corresponding version according to the Mac chip
Apple Silicon and Intel Mac are not compatible with each other. Although Apple Silicon devices can run Intel packages through Rosetta 2, it is recommended to use the native aarch64 version for performance and stability.
Clash.Verge_2.5.2_aarch64.dmg
- Native ARM64 build, best performance
- Macs released after 2020 are mostly of this type
- Support macOS 11 Big Sur and above
Clash.Verge_2.5.2_x64.dmg
- x86_64 native build
- Applicable to Intel Core i series Mac
- Supports macOS 10.15 Catalina and above
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Clash\ Verge.app Isolation attributes can be removed.
MacOS environment for running Clash Verge Rev

Using WKWebView, the resource usage is close to that of native applications.

Right-click the application icon and select "Open" (do not double-click), and click "Open" again in the pop-up window. Or go to "System Settings → Privacy & Security" and click "Open Anyway".
This is caused by the quarantine attribute of Gatekeeper. Terminal execution xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Clash\ Verge.app on the upper right corner and then start again.
The most common reason is chip version mismatch (such as M1 equipped with x64 version). Re-download the corresponding aarch64 installation package.
Explanation Helper installation exception. After uninstalling, reinstall the application and enter the password as prompted when starting to complete the Helper installation.
First confirm that the subscription link is accessible in the browser, and then confirm the subscription format. For complete troubleshooting, see No node FAQ after import。

Frequently asked questions for macOS users
Click the Apple icon in the upper left corner of the screen → "About This Mac". The "Chip" row displays M1/M2/M3/M4 for Apple Silicon; displays Intel Core for Intel Mac.
It works through Rosetta 2 translation, but the performance and stability are not as good as the native aarch64 version. It is strongly recommended to use the installation package corresponding to the chip.
Clash Verge Rev has not purchased an Apple developer signature, and Gatekeeper refuses to run unsigned applications by default. This is a regular security mechanism of macOS and does not mean there is a problem with the application itself.
Default location ~/Library/Application Support/io.github.clash-verge-rev.clash-verge/. Use Finder's "Go to Folder" (⌘⇧G) for quick access.
First turn off the "System Agent" switch in the client. Then drag Clash Verge.app into the Trash. If you need to clean up the configuration, delete the application support directory above.
Download the new version of DMG and install it over it (the old version will be replaced). You can also trigger automatic upgrades directly in "Settings → Check for Updates". Configurations and subscriptions are retained.
