This build is specially compiled for Apple Silicon and can run natively without Rosetta 2. Before installation, please confirm that the device uses M series chips.

What are the advantages of aarch64 over Intel version
Although Apple Silicon Mac can run Intel applications through Rosetta 2, the proxy client needs to be resident for a long time, and the native build is more advantageous in multiple dimensions.
Run ARM instructions directly without Rosetta translation overhead. Idle state CPU usage is typically less than 1%.
When MacBook users turn on the proxy, the native version has a significantly smaller impact on battery life than the translated version.
The additional resident memory of the Rosetta process will be omitted, and the overall resident memory will be smaller.
Native commands run more efficiently, and fan noise and temperature are more controllable during long-term use.
Some TUN/network related components are more stable in native mode to avoid Rosetta's boundary cases.

1Confirm that it is an Apple Silicon device
The words Apple M1 / M2 / M3 / M4 displayed in the "Chip" row in "About This Mac" are Apple Silicon. If it is "Intel Core i5/i7/i9", please go to Intel version download page。

2Download aarch64 DMG
Click the "Direct Link Download" button above, the file name should be
Clash.Verge_2.5.2_aarch64.dmg。 -
3Mount DMG and drag it into Applications
Double-click the DMG to open the image and drag the Clash Verge icon to the Applications folder. Once completed, the disk image can be ejected.

4First startup (processing Gatekeeper)
Right-click Clash Verge in Applications → "Open" → click "Open" again in the pop-up window. If it prompts "Corrupted", execute:
sudo xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Clash\ Verge.app -
5Verification of operation architecture
Open "Activity Monitor" and find the Clash Verge process. The "Type" column should show "Apple" instead of "Intel". This indicates that the native ARM version is used correctly.

6Import subscriptions, select nodes, and enable agents
"Subscription" → Paste the link → Import; "Agent" → Select the node; "Settings" → Turn on the system agent (you need to enter the login password for the first time to install the Helper).
